The KPCA is pleased to present our Annual Photo Competition as part of our 2026 Conference! All entries will be showcased at the 2026 KPCA Conference, taking place on October 27^th to October 29^th in Karratha in the beautiful Pilbara. Entries close on Friday, 9^th October 2026, with winners announced at the conference closing on Thursday 29^th October 2026.

Featuring four captivating categories:

People: Capture the essence of the Kimberley or Pilbara cattle community by showcasing a person or people, highlighting their personality, skills, or reflections of their life.

Landscape: Bring the unique and often harsh, yet always beautiful, Kimberley or Pilbara landscapes to life through your lens.

Animal and Nature: Photograph an animal you work with or one in its natural environment, or capture the striking beauty of native flora or fauna.

Aerial: From mustering to waterways and the brilliant colors of our natural landscapes, let your aerial images reveal the endless possibilities.

Category Winner: $100 gift card, People’s Choice Award: $200 gift card, Major Winner: $500 gift card.

Terms and Conditions

All entries will be profiled throughout the year on KPCA social media, with selected photos featured on our 2027 KPCA Fishing Shirt. Please note that all photos will be considered for the design of the KPCA Fishing Shirt.

Please submit your photos in a digital format (JPG) and high resolution (300 ppi) on the entry form by Friday 9 October 2026.

By submitting a photograph to us you will be agreeing to the following terms:

1. You are the owner of the copyright in the image and have approval to submit the image to us.
2. Any person appearing in the images has provided informed consent to you submitting the photo to us and for us to use on KPCA publications, merchandise and media.
3. We may edit, adapt or enlarge the photo in any way required by us.
4. This consent is perpetual, nonexclusive, transferrable, and royalty-free.
5. We may use any photo submitted to us.
