Northern Beef - Securing our Markets, Strengthening our Future

Tuesday 27 - Thursday 29 October 2026,Karratha, Pilbara, Western Australia

Join the Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen’s Association (KPCA) in beautiful Karratha for our flagship 2026 Conference, bringing together pastoralists, supply chain partners, industry leaders and government to shape the future of northern beef.

As the key representative body for northern Western Australia’s pastoral industry, KPCA proudly represents Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne pastoralists and the broader beef supply chain. In 2025, KPCA celebrated ten years of strong advocacy, industry development and strategic leadership for the northern pastoral sector.

Our vision remains clear:

Maximising the Value of the Northern Beef Industry through Innovation, Capacity Building and Industry Influence.

Northern Western Australia continues to play a critical role in Australia’s beef story:

  • 91% of Western Australia’s live exports originate from northern pastoral stations.
  • A 53% increase in live export market share from 2024 to 2025 highlights growing global demand.
  • Domestic market share of premium pasture-fed and grain-finished northern cattle continues to rise, with herd improvements delivering high-quality beef to Australian and international consumers.

KPCA remains committed to championing industry development — working collaboratively with government and industry while building strategic alliances that strengthen our pastoral businesses and supply chain.
